WHY WE RUN

Image

In Memory and Honor of My Sister

My sister, Sandy West, was diagnosed with ALS in November 2022 at just 46 years old. Watching her face this devastating disease inspired me to create the 5k to Beat ALS—to raise awareness, support families affected by ALS, and help fund research for a cure.

Every step you take honors Sandy and the thousands of individuals and families impacted by ALS. Together, we can make a difference and bring hope to those fighting this disease.

Thank you for joining us in the race to Beat ALS.
